POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Help Desk I position provides help desk support and technology troubleshooting to clients in the areas of backup, desktop support, networks, security, and servers.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provide help desk support, diagnosis, and resolution planning for incoming phone calls and emails.
- Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.
- Coordinate incoming service desk tickets including assigning onsite service calls and ticket escalation as appropriate.
- Monitor and respond to software generated alerts.
- Configure and prepare computer systems and other hardware for delivery to clients.
- Participate in relevant vendor training to maintain up-to-date expertise.
- Obtain and maintain certifications as required for continued success.
- Support partners/staff in assigned project-based work.
- Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures.
- Provide professional, courteous, prompt, and accurate support and solutions to users.
- Be polite, courteous, and professional when communicating with co-workers.
- Ensure customer satisfaction.
- Follow-up with customers to ensure all issues have been resolved.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
This position requires the skills and abilities, including but not limited to:
- 0-1 years of relevant IT experience.
- High School Diploma or Microsoft certification.
- CompTIA A+ and Network +.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Exhibits adaptability, critical thinking, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Exhibits patience and persistence.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the installation, configuration, and maintenance of
modern computer and software systems, including but not limited to Windows,
Office, and network hardware.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
- Be able to pass a full background check.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States of America.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to lift 80lbs.
